Founder, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, BEA Systems
Alfred Chuang, who founded BEA Systems in early 1995 with Bill Coleman and Ed Scott, had managed just about every aspect of BEA by the time he became CEO in October 2001. He had led the areas of finance, sales, services, engineering, product development, MIS, corporate development, business planning, developer services, human resources and global operations. He had been BEA's chief technology officer, executive vice president of product development, president of BEA WebXpress, president of business operations, and president and chief operating officer. In August 2002, in addition to CEO, Mr. Chuang became BEA's chairman of the board.
Paul Coby

Paul Coby's business principle is ―― 'there are no IT projects, only business projects'. Over the last five years he has reduced the cost of running BA's IT operation by 45%, enabling the Airline's investment in industry revolutionising 'customer and employee enabled' systems to increase by 50%. These include the award winning ba.com, on-line check-in and Employee Self Service, which has made on-line the main way of doing business for both BA customers and employees. Paul has established the IT and Business Change team within the IT Department to bridge the gap between technology and business transformation.

Mr. Yang joined Shanxi Mobile in 2004. Currently, he mainly takes charge of corporate information system, corporate portal and the platform of cnlife365.com. His interests mainly focus on IT research in telecom industry, internet application and IT-system operation and maintenance. Mr. Yang graduated from the Department of Computer Science and Technology in Tsinghua University, where he obtained bachelor, master and doctor degrees.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Saccone is responsible for all aspects of BEA marketing strategy and operations worldwide, including developing and executing the BEA go-to-market plan, and driving all elements of an integrated, global marketing program. Her background includes almost 20 years of high-tech marketing, finance and business planning/strategy experience.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Saccone held several senior management positions at BEA including Vice President of Human Resources, Worldwide Field Organization and Vice President, Services Marketing. She was most recently Vice President, Corporate Marketing leading the Go-to-Market organization that includes industry/solutions marketing, product marketing, customer marketing and field marketing organizations.
Ms. Saccone graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia, The Darden School with a master’s in business administration and with Honors, Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Economics from Stanford University.

Bruce Graham, Senior Vice President, is responsible for BEA's consulting organization and its Global and Enterprise Accounts. Since joining BEA in 2003, Bruce launched and led BEA's Global SOA Practice, and has been a major driver behind BEA's recognized leadership in SOA. Bruce joined BEA from the Feld Group, a premiere IT strategy and technology management firm serving Fortune 200-sized corporations, where he was a founding partner in the firm.
During his career, Bruce has served as CIO of multiple multi-billion enterprises, in addition to serving as COO then CEO of a publicly held application service provider. Bruce brings to BEA a unique, broad understanding of the development and real-world execution of "transformational" IT strategies, as well as extensive hands-on experience in systems development and integration in the Global 2000.
Bruce regularly keynotes industry conferences, is interviewed by publications worldwide, and briefs both industry and financial analysts for BEA. He attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds a bachelors degree from Texas Tech University.

Rob Levy is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of BEA Systems. He leads the company's efforts to align BEA's technology vision with its business strategy. He is responsible for developing and implementing technology initiatives within the company and fostering BEA's commitment to software innovation and open standards.Previously, he was executive vice president of New Products Strategy, responsible for all aspects BEA's AquaLogic product lines, including research and development, product management, support, quality assurance, and strategic planning. Rob has over 25 years of experience in leading all aspects of the computer software and services business and a proven track record of running large development organizations.

Mr. Churchward brings over 25 years experience in the information technology industry as a business executive, with extensive international experience in engineering, sales, marketing, strategy and market development.
He is currently Vice President of Engineering at BEA Systems, Inc., and oversees product strategy and development in the areas of virtualization/utility computing, Event Driven Architecture (EDA) including real-time and complex event processing, portals and Java Virtual Machine technology. Prior to that, Churchward was Vice President of Marketing Development for Mainspring Ventures, Inc., a consulting firm he also founded. He has held executive management positions at Sun Microsystems and Caplin Cybernetics, and sales management positions at Granada Computer Services and Vanco.
Churchward holds a M.B.A from Stanford University and studied Computer Science at Cambridge College in the U.K.
