BPU Sim is the stock broking division of Banche Popolari Unite Group. The company places securities through its own advisor network. The existing solution used to manage the financial advisor network was ineffective and inflexible.
'SIMPLE' (Front Office Financial Advisors' application) is based on ObjectWay 'Financial Suite', which resides on BEA WebLogic Server 8.1. This solution enables users to browse the entire product catalog, to access customer data, and to analyze client security portfolios (using MorningStar's X-Ray Analysis). It also allows the team to evaluate and analyze the entire portfolio managed by each advisor.
The new application is being used by BPU Sim's 430 sales representatives and 20 executives. During the first three months the application showed many advantages compared to its previous version: overall cost reduction, increased availability, higher quality and quantity of available information, improved customer satisfaction, and lower IT maintenance costs.
