Broadlane needed an industrial-strength portal infrastructure to support a growing user community, and to accelerate the delivery of new services, content and functionality.
Broadlane has deployed three new customer-facing Web applications on BEA WebLogic Portal. The portal infrastructure is based on a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Broadlane is gradually phasing out its legacy Web applications.
Application availability is nearly perfect, end-to-end performance has improved, and Broadlane is able to provide customers with innovative, value-added services that are helping to improve the company's competitive position.
