To develop the Employment Service website, giving access to a range of on-line services designed to simplify employment administration. In addition, create the Casual Workers Payment Service website, allowing individuals to prepare tax returns and submit them online.
BEA technology is deployed for several online services, including the Employment Services site, the TEE (Company Employee Register) and the CEA (Casual Workers Payments Association) projects. BEA provided additional services and training.
Productivity gains have been achieved by bringing the main services online. This has removed the need for manual and costly processes in place before the migration to BEA. The system also has a great capacity for high traffic volumes, allowing 300,000 simultaneous connections.
