Clinica Alemana had to modernize its IT infrastructure. The hospital's operational requirements necessitated greater flexibility and efficiency in its business processes in order to support a growing and dynamic healthcare environment.
The hospital built an intranet using BEA WebLogic® Integration, and a new Web site on BEA WebLogic Server®. Together, along with existing BEA Tuxedo® applications, they provide hospital staff and patients with timelier, easier access to a wealth of information and resources.
The new Web applications have increased organizational efficiency, solidified Clinica Alemana's position as one of Chile's most innovative healthcare providers, and reduced IT cost structure, all accomplished while making the entire hospital more adaptable.
