What the Oracle acquisition means for BEA architects

Dear BEA architects:

Oracle has just completed its acquisition of BEA, so you're probably wondering—now what? Well, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you from the Oracle Technology Network. We're excited about bringing together the best of BEA and Oracle technologies, and about working with architects to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

As part of our commitment to making you successful, we're dedicated to ongoing, proactive communication. Within the next few months, the high-quality editorial, blogs, discussion forums and rich content you've been used to getting from the Arch2Arch Website will be migrating to the Oracle Technology Network.

The transition is not yet complete, but I invite you to visit OTN today to orient yourself to this new resource. There you can read my blog post on this transition. Please check in regularly as I'll be blogging and Twittering on this subject. Going forward, we'll be communicating mostly through blogs and an Oracle Mix group that I've created specifically to get your feedback. Let's all work together to make sure that you, the architects, are some of the biggest winners from this acquisition.

Best regards,

Justin Kestelyn
Editor-in-Chief, Oracle Technology Network, and Senior Director, Oracle Developer Programs
