Architects get involved in BPM

Managing, measuring, and improving business processes hasn’t always involved enterprise architects. This is changing as Business Process Management (BPM) is increasingly adopted as an approach that ties together the organizational and analytical aspects of business processes with IT infrastructure that can execute and manage those processes. Products such as BEA AquaLogic BPM Suite support this close collaboration between business and IT, and enterprise architects are now frequently involved in the evaluation and purchasing decisions for these BPM products. Click here to read how Jesper Joergensen, director of product marketing for BEA AquaLogic BPM Suite, answers some of the most common BPM questions asked by enterprise architects.

What’s it really like to implement SOA?

This summer, enterprise architects gathered for exclusive BEA Arch2Arch Summits in San Francisco and Budapest. There they heard from BEA experts and were treated to straight-from-the-trenches reports from two customers, both one year into their SOA implementations. Even if you missed the Summit, don’t miss out on the technical breakouts, the insights from BEA thought leaders, and the case studies shared at the event. Presentations are now online.
