Event-driven architecture: the practitioners' view
 

What's really happening with event-driven architecture (EDA)? To get the practitioner's point of view on EDA adoption, ebizQ recently surveyed approximately 450 IT professionals and learned 90% of them planned to put event-driven applications in production within two years. The majority confirmed that they think about EDA not as an all-encompassing replacement, but as an addition to existing architectural paradigms such as SOA and IT project domains including BPM and BAM.
