Virtualization is here and now

It's here: BEA WebLogic Server® 9.2, Virtual Edition 1.1. This Java EE environment has been optimized to help you get the most out of virtualized hardware, so there's never been a better time to maximize your use of the hardware you have, reduce demand for new hardware, reduce system complexity, and cut your operating costs—all while enhancing your organization's agility. The LiquidVM 1.1 is designed to address all the “1.0” limitations in the first release, providing local disk, secure file system access, SMP support, and performance improvements.

At the same time, BEA® WebLogic® Operations Control—BEA's policy-based management framework for BEA WebLogic Server and JVM-based applications—has now entered public beta. It's time to get serious about going virtual—and BEA has information and products to help.
